3. Bhrigu lake trek

Bhrigu Lake Trek starts in Gulaba, which is about 22 km from Manali and is not too difficult. The path to Sage Bhrigu Lake is about 10 kilometres long and goes through big rocks and steep hills. The lake is very high up, at 14,000 feet, and is surrounded by green grass and special mountain plants. The highest point of the trek is 14,009 feet, and you can do it at any time of the year. But the best time is in May or June. The climb up is steep, but the way down is easy, making it a great trek for people who are new to hiking.

4. Prashar lake trek

The Prashar Lake Trek, starting from Baggi about 20 kilometres from Mandi, is an easy trek that leads to the mesmerising Prashar Lake, situated at an altitude of 2,730 metres. You can finish this two-day trek in Kullu, which is 8,900 feet above sea level. The climb is not too hard, and you'll walk through beautiful green forests and cross clear streams. The lake has a special island that floats on the water and looks like it's moving with the lake. You can also see the Dhauladhar, Pir Panjal, and Kinnaur mountains from the lake, and they look like a crescent moon.

In the winter, it snows a lot around the lake, and the trek path is usually closed in December. The temperature can get as high as 21°C in the summer, but it can drop as low as -8°C in the winter. If you want to experience winter at Prashar Lake, September is the best time to go.

5. Hampta pass trek
