If a 360 view of the snow capped mountains is what you are looking for, head to Shaily Peak which is about 44 km away from Shimla and perched at 9500 ft. You can get a full panoramic view of Shimla, Mashobra, Kufri, Fagu and Narkanda from this point.

The best way to cure a day’s tiredness is to soak in the Tattapani hot water springs right on the banks of the Sutlej. These gushing streams — naturally enriched with sulphur — are relaxing and believed to have many medicinal properties.
