The nearest railway station is Hassan Junction railway station, about 111 km away. Alternatively, Mysuru Junction is about 122km away. Cabs and buses are available outside both stations to reach the hostel.
Suntikoppa bus stand is the closest, approximately 20 km away from the hostel. A cab will get you here in about 30-40 mins.

We provide lockers in the dormitories only. Every bed has an attached locker for guests to keep their valuables. It is advised that you carry a lock for the locker if needed. However, availing a padlock from the reception will be subject to availability and at an additional cost. It is advised that you carry a lock.

POLICIES
The Hosteller is a chain of backpacker hostels and is well suited for young backpacking travellers. As a brand, we do not recommend families and do not allow all those below 18 years of age to stay with us, nor do we allow admission of kids or infants under 18 years old, even if travelling with legal guardians.
Drugs/Substance/Alcohol abuse is STRICTLY prohibited at all our hostels. In case anyone is found possessing or consuming drugs during their stay, strict action shall be taken against him/her and the person would be asked to vacate the hostel immediately and would be blacklisted from staying at our hostels forever.
For non-refundable reservations, modification requests (not cancellations) can be considered only if received within 60 minutes of the original booking time. Unfortunately, requests made after this timeframe cannot be accepted.
100% prepayment is mandatory on or prior to check-in to ensure guaranteed booking.
We cannot guarantee accommodation in the same dorm room in the case of 3 or 4 people travelling together. Allocation of a room in a specific private room category may vary depending on availability. That will strictly be subject to availability until the time of check-in.
Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and at the discretion of the management.
Only female guests are permitted to check into the female dorm. If a male guest books this room type, check-in will be denied as per policy. Modifications to the booking are allowed only within 60 minutes of reservation. No refund will be issued if the booking falls outside the cancellation policy period.
All our hostels have dedicated smoking areas. Smoking inside the rooms is strictly prohibited.
Outside food is strictly prohibited inside the hostel.
In case the guest wants to meet the visitor, they can do so in our waiting area or common spaces. Note, visitors are not allowed inside any of the rooms at any time.
All guests are mandatorily required to do a pre-arrival contactless check-in via the Glu app (link of which is shared with each guest immediately post booking via WhatsApp).
The Hosteller Bam Coorg is pet-friendly. We permit pets only for private room guests and not dorm bookers. Pets are strictly not allowed in the dorms. Any damages, in case, incurred during the stay shall be attributable to the pet owners.
The Hosteller reserves the right to admission based on the discretion of the management.
