Our hostels are primarily designed to cater to backpackers and smart travelers, fostering a dynamic and social atmosphere. To maintain the unique hostel vibe and culture, we have implemented an age bar. As a brand, we do not permit anyone below 18 years of age to stay with us, even if accompanied with their guardians at all our hostels.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The Hosteller also believes and promotes lean hospitality essentially meaning that we are believers of self-service, no porter/valet/etc. and are a no frills hospitality company. This is ingrained in our operating model in order to provide excellent services to our guests while keeping the accommodation costs as affordable as possible. We also have adopted a pay-as-you-go model for certain amenities such as locks, toiletry kits and towels by offering such items on a chargeable basis.&nbsp;&lt;/li>

&lt;li>The Hosteller reserves all rights to admission and believes in providing a safe, secure and healthy living environment to all its guests. Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the hostel management or if any inappropriate behavior is brought to the attention of the management, the hostel management shall be entitled to take appropriate action against the guest, post a thorough investigation.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Check-in: 2 PM, Check-out:  11 AM, non resident guest visiting hours: 9 AM - 9 PM, silence hours: 10 PM &amp; onwards&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and at the discretion of the management.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>All guests are mandatorily required to do a pre-arrival contactless check-in via the Glu app (link of which is shared with each guest immediately post booking via Whatsapp). Additionally, it is mandatory for every guest to present a GoI (Government of India) approved photo ID at the time of check-in (valid IDs being passport, aadhar, driving license or a voter ID). For foreigners, it is mandatory to present their passport and a valid visa (in originals) during the time of check-in. All Pakistani guests staying at any of our hostels must carry and present an additional residence permit letter from the Indian High Commission in Islamabad along with the passport and valid visa at the time of their check-in. PAN card or a student id card, etc. shall not be accepted as valid ID cards.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Guests with local IDs are allowed admission to our hostels except for Kasol, Jaipur, Udaipur, Agra, Jaipur MI Road, Jodhpur.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Unmarried couples are allowed to book &amp; stay at The Hosteller.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The Hosteller’s Glu web app is an effort from our end to make the entire travel experience enriching &amp; smart. Using Glu, the guests can do contact less check-ins, raise requests during their stay, order food &amp; beverage, book bike/car rentals, review/rate us &amp; make their travel 100% seamless.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Payment modes accepted at our hostels: Cash, debit card, credit card and UPI payments.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>100% prepayment is mandatory at our hostel prior to check-in to ensure guaranteed booking.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Non resident guests shall not be allowed beyond the common areas (most definitely not inside the guest rooms).&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>In case anyone is traveling in a group of 2+ more people, we do not guarantee the accommodation arrangement for all the guests in the same dorm room. Allocation of rooms happens in an automated manner subject to availability at the time, varied floor arrangements, etc.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Specific policies may apply to different hostels under the brand at specific times of the year and the same shall be communicated at the time of check-in.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The Hosteller operates F&amp;B services under the banner of “Unbox” cafes which serve hot and freshly prepared vegetarian food only. General cafe timings are: 8 AM - 2 PM &amp; 6 PM - midnight (it can vary from hostel to hostel).&lt;/li>
&lt;li>We are a pet-friendly hostel chain with the exception of Agra, Bir, Mussoorie - BTS, and Udaipur. We permit pets only for private room guests and not dorm bookers. Pets are strictly not allowed in the dorms. Any damages, in case, incurred during the stay shall be attributable to the pet owners.&nbsp;&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The Hosteller shall not be held responsible for guest’s loss of personal belongings and it shall be the responsibility of the guests to keep their valuables safe and secure.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>We do not have any contact numbers (hostel level). Guests can reach out to us via WhatsApp messages/call on +91 9810187717.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>In case you are arriving earlier than the check-in time, you can hang out in the common area/cafe until the check-in time. However, in case you are arriving as early as 7 AM, it is highly recommended to book a dormitory bed or a private room for the previous night as well.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Travellers looking for extended stays can explore co-living options on our website for a hassle-free experience.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Any form of misconduct towards fellow travellers, whether male or female, will result in immediate check-out from the premises. This includes, but is not limited to, verbal abuse, harassment, physical intimidation, or any inappropriate behavior that disrupts the comfort, safety, or wellbeing of others.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Consumption of alcohol, drugs &amp; outside food is strictly prohibited at our hostels. In case anyone is found indulging in such activities, anywhere inside the hostel premises, we shall be liable to take strict actions ultimately leading to asking you to vacate the premises immediately. The guest shall also be deemed unfit to continue any further at any of our hostels in case of non-adherence of general policies, misbehavior (physical/mental/verbal or in any kind) with other guests or hostel management, theft, vandalism, trespassing, non-payment/delay in payment of dues, other guest inconveniences or any such unwarranted actions. In all such cases, the guest shall be asked to vacate the premises immediately without any refunds.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Smoking is strictly permitted only in the dedicated smoking zones within the premises.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Any damages done to the hostel’s infrastructure during your stay shall be chargeable to you as per the management’s discretion.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>All our hostels are CCTV enabled for safety &amp; security reasons.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Booking and cancellation policy&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>All guests, who have booked The Hosteller via the company's website, can log in to their website accounts to cancel their bookings by themselves. In case the refund is requested in The Hosteller wallet account, it shall be reflected immediately and shall be available for future purchases. We request all guests to refrain from reaching out to us via any other communication channels.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>For non-refundable reservations, modification requests (not cancellations) can be considered only if received within 60 minutes of the original booking time. Unfortunately, requests made after this timeframe cannot be accepted.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>All guests, who have booked The Hosteller via other sources such as Booking.com, MMT, etc., shall connect directly with them in order to cancel their bookings. The Hosteller shall not be liable to handle such cancellation requests.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The guests can avail a 100% free cancellation on their bookings (hostels/workation/coliving) until 7 days prior to their check-in date, either in The Hosteller wallet or in the original payment source. In case a guest opts for a refund to their payment source, the same shall get refunded in 5 to 7 working days. Payment gateway charges paid during the time of booking shall be non-refundable.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The guests can avail a 50% free cancellation on their bookings (hostels/workation/coliving) until 4 days prior to their check-in date, only in The Hosteller wallet. The wallet balance can be used anytime in their future bookings with us. Payment gateway charges paid during the time of booking shall be non-refundable.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The guests shall get zero refund on their bookings (hostels/workation/coliving) in case of cancellations made within 4 days to their check-in date or in case of a no-show (i.e. not arriving at the hostel at all).&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Any changes in the check-in as well as the check-out dates is not permissible. Guests are advised to cancel their bookings and make a fresh booking in order to change their dates.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Co-living bookings are required to have a minimum duration of 30 days. Eligible check-in dates range from the present day up to 45 days in advance.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Transfer of bookings from 1 hostel to another is not permissible. Guests are advised to cancel their bookings and make a fresh booking in order to change the hostel location.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>No refund shall be made in any case whatsoever post check-in at the hostel premises or in cases of early departures.&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>


&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Terms and conditions:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>

&lt;li>The loyalty programme (“Programme”) operates under the terms and conditions set out hereinbelow (“Terms and Conditions” or “T&amp;C”) and amendments made thereto from time to time. &lt;li>The Programme is in addition and in support of The Hosteller Commune Programme (“Commune Programme”). The details of the Commune Programme is available on the website of The Hosteller Hospitality Private Limited (“The Hosteller”).&lt;/li>

&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>General:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>These terms and conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with laws of India and the Courts in Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of all the matters arising out of and in relation to these terms and conditions, as amended from time to time.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The benefits under these terms and conditions shall be offered at the sole discretion of The Hosteller Hospitality. The Hosteller shall be at a liberty to amend the T&amp;C, as and when necessary, without any kind of intimation to the members. The members shall be at a responsibility to check the T&amp;C timely and be updated of the same.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The Hosteller is at sole liberty to pause or terminate the benefits under the loyalty programme under any circumstances as they may deem fit and necessary.&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Inception of loyalty programme:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>With effect from 1st June 2023, The Hosteller guests will be eligible to enroll on the Programme. Once the guest opts in for the Programme, the guest shall continue to receive benefits of the Programme unless the guest opts out of the Programme.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The subscribers to the Programme shall be known as “Members”.&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Eligibility and enrolment:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>The membership shall be available to subscribe to the individuals who are 18 years and above.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The Members cannot have membership in, or earn points, in multiple accounts. In the event, the Members have more than one membership account then benefits shall be provided only in one membership account and another membership account shall be canceled by The Hosteller without any prior intimation.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Upon the enrolment of the Programme, the Members shall have to provide full legal name and government authorized photo identification proof.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>All the communications regarding the Programme and benefits under the Programme shall be provided to the Members on the email id and phone number provided at the time of the enrolment. All the communications once sent to the Members shall be deemed to be delivered and The Hosteller bears no responsibility for the communication not received or lost in mail courier, as the case may be.&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Accrual and redemption of points:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>The points for the purposes of the Programme is the loyalty point (“Points” or “TH Coins”) that will be accrued to the Members’ account for activities or purchases made on the website of The Hosteller.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The Points accrued to the Members’ account can be used towards redeeming benefits offered through the Commune Programme. With effect from 1st June 2023, The Hosteller shall issue benefits/Points/TH Coins to the Members under the Programme, as per the terms and conditions provided here in below.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Earning - 1 (one) INR spent = 1 (one) TH Coin; for example: If you have spent INR 2000 on a purchase on www.thehosteller.com, you will receive 2000 TH coins&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Redeeming - 100 (hundred) TH coins = 1 (one) INR&lt;/li>
&lt;li>It is also clarified that the standard rounding principles will be applied to conversion, i.e. decimals will be rounded to the closest round number, such as - 0.5 and 0.75 will be rounded to 1. whereas 0.25 will be rounded to 0. The points shall accrue to Members in accordance with their membership in the Commune Programme.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The Members shall also be awarded TH coins for non-buying activities which involve users to engage in an activity on the website of The Hosteller. To earn TH coins for an activity, the Member has to perform the activity up to completion on the website. TH coins for an activity will be credited in Due status immediately when the Members unlock their respective activity, The Hosteller will validate the successful completion of the activity and upgrade the TH coins to Earned status on the next business day. In the event, activity is not completed successfully by the Members, TH coins allocated for the same in due status shall be reversed immediately.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>TH Coins shall have no monetary value and Th Coins cannot be traded, leveraged or treated as financial instruments under any circumstances whatsoever. The benefits of TH coins can be availed only once it is credited to the Members’ account.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>TH coins are not transferable and cannot be gifted.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The TH coins shall accrue to Members in accordance with terms and conditions of Commune Programme.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>TH coins can be used by Members only in accordance with the T&amp;Cs of the TH coins, in case of any conflict with the T&amp;C and the terms and conditions of the Commune Programme, the Commune Programme shall prevail.&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Validity and visibility TH coins:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>

&lt;li>TH coins can be seen in the profile section of the Members’ account. The Hosteller will maintain a record of TH coins accrued and redeemed by the Members and accordingly, use the same to measure and inform the quantum of perks/benefits that a Member can avail.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>TH coins will be credited in "Due" status after successful booking on the website, however these will be upgraded to "Earned" status 48 hours after the checkout date. No TH coins will be issued for canceled or no show bookings.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Redeeming of TH coins:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>TH coins that are credited to the Member’s account can be redeemed by them in accordance with the TH Coin Loyalty Program. All eligible The Hosteller guests can redeem their TH coins with any participants of the TH coins Loyalty Program which is indicated here where redemption of TH coins is allowed.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The TH coins which have an "Earned" Status can only be redeemed. TH coins cannot be used for purchases with any partners of the TH Commune Loyalty Program in lieu of cash or otherwise.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The TH coins can be redeemed by the Members in accordance with the T&amp;C's of the TH Commune Program and the T&amp;Cs of the partners with whom TH coins are being redeemed (if any).&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Dispute resolution:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>

&lt;li>In case of any dispute or difference arising concerning TH coins or any alleged defect or deficiency of service availed, the same shall be resolved through arbitration as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and the as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and the seat and place will be at Mumbai, Maharashtra. The venue of the arbitration proceedings shall be Mumbai, Maharashtra.&lt;/li>

&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Indemnity:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>

&lt;li>Members hereby agree to indemnify, defend and keep The Hosteller indemnified and harmless against all damages, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, suits and proceedings (including reasonable attorney's fee) that may be suffered by The Hosteller as a consequence of the following:&lt;/li>

&lt;li>(i). Violation of terms of this T&amp;C or terms and conditions of Commune Programme by the Members;&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>(ii). Violation of applicable laws, rules regulations, guidelines, notification, ordinance and/or any other order of state or document having similar import;&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>(iii). Any action or inaction resulting in wilful misconduct or negligence on part of the Members.&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Online account: &lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>Once the Member is enrolled in the Programme, Members must activate their account on the website of The Hosteller. The Hosteller will endeavor to credit the Member’s account with points, TH Coins and rewards on a timely basis as contemplated in present T&amp;C. The Member is responsible for verifying that points are properly credited to their account. Any claim for points not properly credited must be received by the Hosteller with supporting documentation within 3 (three) months of the date of accrual of such points or rewards.&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Limitation of liability:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>The Hosteller is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage, whether direct or indirect, arising out of or in connection caused to the Members with usage of the membership benefits, Commune Programme or the Programme.&nbsp;&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The Members further agree to indemnify and hold The Hosteller including its directors, promoters, employees and officers harmless against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of the Programme.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>Under any circumstances, the Hosteller’s liability shall not exceed the monies paid by the Members.&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Termination of programme:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>The Hosteller may terminate the Programme with 3 (three) months' advance notice to all active Members.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The Hosteller at its sole discretion may choose to substitute a similar loyalty program for the Members at any time immediately upon notice to active Members.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>A Member may not accumulate Points or claim awards, benefits or amenities after the termination of the Programme.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>In the event, the Programme is terminated for the reasons whatsoever, all unredeemed points/TH Coins will be forfeited without any obligation or liability, and no award claims will be honored after the conclusion of the Programme.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>In event of the corporate restructuring such as merger, demerger, buy-out, acquisition, amalgamation or such other restructuring of The Hosteller, under the Commune Programme, all unredeemed points whether accrued or unaccrued, rewards, awards, benefits, perquisites shall transferred to such newly formed entity immediately, however, the same shall lapse in case of the liquidation of The Hosteller without any prior written notice or intimation to the Members.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The Hosteller may terminate any of the program in whole or in part, in any jurisdiction on less than 3 (three) months' notice if required to do so by applicable laws.&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>The hosteller offers the hosteller rewards, these programme terms, and any other related services and products as-is and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, expressly disclaims any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, design, accuracy, capability, sufficiency, suitability, capacity, completeness or availability. without limiting the foregoing, the hosteller does not represent, warrant, or guarantee that the hosteller rewards or any other related services and products will be uninterrupted, without omissions or error free, or that defects will be corrected or changes implemented. members agree that under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, will the hosteller its owners, affiliates and subsidiaries, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents have any liability or responsibility whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless against, any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental consequential, punitive or exemplary damages to persons, including without limitation personal injury, death, or property damage arising in while or in part, directly or indirectly, from membership or participation in the hosteller rewards or use of awards, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Statute of limitations:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>

&lt;li>Any and all rights to bring any claim or action relating to the Programme, Terms and Conditions, any rewards, any redemption, or the parties' relationship must be brought within the period of limitation stipulated by applicable law which follow the first occurrence of the kind of act, event, condition or omission upon which the claim or action is based.&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Force majeure:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>

&lt;li>The Hosteller failure to administer Programme because of an act of God, epidemic, pandemic, war, fire, riot, terrorism, earthquake, actions of state or local governmental authorities, including but not limited to the imposition of sanctions, or for any other reason beyond reasonable control will not be deemed a breach of these Terms and Conditions.&lt;/li>

&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Entire agreement/waiver:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>

&lt;li>These Terms and Conditions and the other terms expressly referenced herein and linked hereto constitute the entire agreement between Members and The Hosteller regarding their participation in Programme, Member’s opportunity to earn and redeem points and Member’s entitlement to any other benefits of rewards and supersede all prior agreements, whether oral or written, including, without limitation, all previous versions of these Terms and conditions.&lt;/li>
&lt;/ul>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Severability:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>
&lt;ul>
&lt;li>If any provision of these Programme is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be void, invalid, contrary to law, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be changed and interpreted so as to best accomplish the objectives of the original provision to the fullest extent allowed by law and the remaining provisions of these Programme shall remain in full force and effect.&lt;/li>

&lt;li>The Intellectual Property and all the Intellectual Property Rights owned by The Hosteller shall at all times remain the property of The Hosteller. Any misuse or abuse of the Intellectual Property and Intellectual Property Rights of The Hosteller by the Members shall result in legal consequences at par with breach or infringement of Intellectual Property Rights under the applicable laws.&lt;/li>

&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Administration:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>

&lt;li>The Hosteller shall be solely responsible for administration, management and affairs of the Terms and Conditions of the Programme.&lt;/li>

&lt;h1>&lt;span style="font-size: 24px;">&lt;strong>Consent:&lt;/strong>&lt;/span>&lt;/h1>
&lt;p>&lt;/p>

&lt;li>By joining the Programme, the Members hereby agree to abide by these terms and conditions.&lt;/li>
&lt;li>The Hosteller reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice to members. The Members are advised to regularly review the terms and conditions for any updates or changes, as the case may be.&lt;/li>
